THIS JUST IN! Not much detail as yet on this, but the bare bones of the story is Fantic is returning to competition enduro (and motocross) with a whole new range.
It would seem they’ve made a deal with Yamaha/Minarelli on the supply of two-stroke engines – and we understand this means YZ125 and YZ250 – which will power a range of XX motocrossers and XE enduros.
The frame, too, seems to a part of the supply as you can see from the cast aluminium side rails, just like the YZs. So, a YZ with Italian tweaks, especially for the enduro models. Should be nice!

I think Fantic Motor understand that Yamaha aren’t going to bother with EURO5 type approval/homologation proceedings for their US Domestic Market YZ125X and YZ250X models and I warmly welcome Fantic Motor’s offering of an option to Stefan Pierer’s obsession with the exercise of (commercial) power.
