A DAY AND NIGHT in Denver’s RiNo district behind the camera lens. I’m no photographer but a keen learner and time in this eccentric neighbourhood was food for the soul. The lens a foil and facilitator, it broke down barriers and allowed me entry into personal spaces – what surprised me was the intimacy of interaction with strangers – looking back this was a highlight of our trip to the USA. Alone and yet not alone.
Visit Colorado – especially Denver and the RiNo district – it’s home to some very unusual and interesting people. A place to lose yourself and to find yourself.
My Lasting impression about the place was the odd sense of community set against a vastly disparate social fabric.
