Yamaha has scored a runaway success with their Ténéré 700, selling a reported 20,000 units a year into the European market. So for 2022 they’re keeping it exactly as it is (which we won’t argue with) only with some neat new colourways that speak to the Ténéré heritage.
For the standard model the Icon Blue version is a dynamic new colourway apparently inspired by the factory’s race bikes, and features blue body panels and blue wheel rims. Meanwhile Midnight Black is available if you prefer an understated and (arguably) moody look, featuring an all-black body with black wheel rims.
The Rally model is updated with a new Heritage White colour scheme featuring white bodywork with Yamaha’s famous red speed block graphics, as well as a red/black seat and gold coloured wheel rims. Of course, the red speed block has always been associated with the European racing teams, it’ll be interesting to see if American Ténérés gets the US yellow-and-black speed block…
