I cant’ believe that its been 8 months since we last published anything online or sent out our last email – what a hiatus! Its good to be active again after so long.
Not that we’ve been sitting around doing nothing of course, but you could be forgiven for thinking that we had folded, disappeared or even given up. Not so. We just spent some time figuring out what we wanted to do. Magazine publishing, online or not, takes a great deal of time, is costly and unprofitable, all resulting in JB’d departure last year.
A few campsite chats later and all of us at RUST, myself, Craig and now both Nick and Luke our two new contributors needed (and wanted) to more entertainment oriented. This meant a format and content change. Looking back at our content we realised we wanted much more than to be industry format reporters, bike testers and traditionalists. All of us left at Rust are a little naughtier than that. So our content will be way more immersive, personal and be significantly broader based than before. The majority of our content will be delivered by video, podcast and vlog. Its quick, keeps us in the saddle, and of course, it’s the way the majority of media is consumed these days.
Our Youtube intro pretty much says it all and we encourage you to visit, subscribe and hit the notifications button so you know when we drop new content.

YOUTUBE INTRO
Welcome to RUST, we welcome you to join us on our moto-life chronicles. We aim to make you laugh, help you learn and dream over new and old motorcycles, especially ones that take you off the beaten path and out into the backcountry. The four of us at Rust (me, Craig, Nick, and Luke) share a lifelong passion for life on two wheels. We range in age from our mid-forties to late fifties and are now old enough not to care about being PC, adhering to industry protocol or caring about the epidemic of the easily offended.
So, our aim is to deliver entertainment, comedy, and some cheeky banter as we give you sneak peeks into our aging attempts at racing off road, workshop fails and faux pa’s, the occasional good tip on how to fix stuff. We’ll share with you what we wear to help preserve our old bones, some fitness and yoga moves for moto as we try and cheat age and of course what’s getting older worth if we couldn’t share some of our fireside ramblings on philosophy brought about by our own aging contemplations. If you, like us, have a little rust in your bones or maybe you’re not there yet but want to see what life may look like when you do, then we encourage you to join us as we share our individual journeys here are RUST through our videos, podcasts, vlogs, and blogs.
If you want to know more about vans, tools, tyres, tracks, and travel or why it’s best to take a boat to Spain, or the best routes to take to avoid exorbitant cost of French toll’s or perhaps what the best beers to try are in East Sussex then this is your new home.
Anyway, great to have you along to share our moto chronicles, welcome! Please feel free to drop us a line with any questions, comments, or suggestions. We’d love to hear from you.
